Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the GameLynx mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Using the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in unauthorised activity.

2. User conduct — zero tolerance

GameLynx has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. To keep our community respectful and welcoming, you agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliations.
  • Harass, threaten or harm other members of the community.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful or infringes on another person's rights.

Every message can be flagged for review by long-pressing it, and any member can be blocked instantly from a conversation. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours; offending content is removed, and accounts that post objectionable content or abuse other members are ejected from the Service.

3. Content and intellectual property

The Service and all related content are owned by GameLynx or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a licence to use, store and share it as needed to provide the Service.

4. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameLynx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

5. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
